Foundation

SHOSHONE EDUCATION FOUNDATION If you have ever attended any sporting events at Shoshone High School you might notice that the Shoshone Education Foundation has a concession stand that sells yummy popcorn, cold soda, chocolaty chocolate bars, fresh hot pizza, corn dogs and sugary candy. But have you ever wondered where the money from the sales go and why support the Shoshone Education Foundation? Mrs. Virginia Churchman has a list of five reason why we should support this worthy cause: 1. The Foundation provides scholarships for graduating Shoshone students. 2. The Foundation supports special classroom projects. 3. All funds donated to the Foundation support Shoshone students and their activities. 4. The Shoshone Education Foundation is a non-profit Organization 501 © 3 and donations in Idaho may be used as a tax credit. 5. No director receives any wages or compensation. Besides supporting the concession stand during the games, you can support the foundation by several different ways: Send a check (donation) to SEF, P.O. Box 534, Shoshone, ID 83352. For as little as $16.67 per month you will qualify to join the Foundations Heritage Club. If you are a Shoshone School District employee payroll deductions (donations) can be authorized. Memorial donations are also accepted and notification will be made to the family that you are honoring. If you are unable to make monetary donation, the Foundation is always looking for new members and for individuals who want to help with concessions and other events. If you have questions please contact Virginia Churchman at 208-886-2128.
